These Terms & Conditions govern your participation in competitions operated by ThirtySix Competitions (“we”, “us”, “our”) via https://thirtysixcompetitions.com. By entering any competition on our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1.1 We operate competitions intended to qualify as prize competitions under section 14 of the Gambling Act 2005, or, where relevant, as free draws, in accordance with the rules that apply to the specific competition.
1.2 To enter, you must correctly answer the qualifying skill-based question before payment is taken or a postal entry is accepted. Our system blocks checkout if your answer is incorrect. An incorrect answer is not entered and no payment is taken.
1.3 A prize competition must require skill, knowledge or judgement at a level that can deter some people from entering and prevent a proportion of entrants from winning. The legal classification depends on the actual mechanics of each competition and free-entry route. No Gambling Commission licence is required where a competition lawfully qualifies as a prize competition or free draw.
1.4 We aim to comply with the CAP Code on prize promotions.
2.1 Open only to residents of Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) aged 18 or over. Northern Ireland and other jurisdictions are not eligible.
2.2 We may request proof of age, identity and address. Employees, immediate family and anyone professionally connected with the competition may not enter.
3.1 Each competition offers a paid online entry route and a free postal entry route. No purchase is necessary for the free route.
3.2 Both routes require a correct answer, enter the same draw and have an equal chance of winning.
3.3 Paid entrants must answer correctly, select available numbers or Lucky Dip and complete secure checkout.
3.4 Free entrants must follow section 4.
3.5 The same combined per-person limit applies to paid and free entries, as stated on each competition page (for example, a maximum of 100 entries per person).
4.1 Send a legible postcard or letter by ordinary first- or second-class post. No special delivery is required.
4.2 Include your full name, postal address, date of birth, email, telephone, exact competition name, answer to the qualifying question, and confirmation that you accept these Terms.

4.4 One entry per envelope or postcard. You may submit multiple entries, each separately posted, up to the same combined maximum stated on the competition page.
4.5 Entries must be received before the closing date and while entries remain available. Valid entries are allocated available ticket numbers and entered into the same draw. Incomplete, illegible, late or ineligible entries cannot be accepted.
5.1 Prices are in GBP (£). Paid entries must be paid in full at the time of entry.
5.2 Once payment has been processed and confirmation issued, the entry is confirmed. Purchasing an entry does not guarantee a prize.
5.3 Entries are generally non-refundable except for payment errors, duplicate payments, entries that cannot be fulfilled, cancelled competitions, or where required by law. See our Payments, Refunds and Cancellations policy.
6.1 All valid paid and free entries are included in the same random draw.
6.2 Draws are normally broadcast live and recorded. If a technical issue prevents a live draw, it will be recorded and published as soon as possible.
6.3 We will contact the winner using the details supplied. The winner must respond and provide evidence of eligibility within 14 days, otherwise an alternative winner may be selected.
6.4 If a competition does not reach the minimum valid entries stated on its page (for the Velar competition, 1,500), we may at our discretion extend the closing date by up to 14 days, offer a cash alternative as stated on the competition page, or refund all entries. Any change will be announced on the competition page and our official social channels.
7.1 Prizes are as described on the individual competition page.
7.2 Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative unless stated on the competition page.
7.3 We may substitute a prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.
7.4 UK mainland delivery is included unless stated otherwise on the competition page.
8.1 Competitions are for adults aged 18 and over. Please enter responsibly and only spend what you can afford.

8.3 To ask us to limit your entries, suspend or close your account, contact support@thirtysixcompetitions.com. We will discuss reasonable account restrictions with you.
8.4 This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta, Facebook, Instagram or any other social network.
9.1 We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection laws.
9.2 By entering, you agree that we may use your first name and general location in winner announcements where appropriate.
10.1 We will operate competitions with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

These Terms and the relevant competition page form the agreement between you and us. Material changes will not be applied retrospectively in a way that unfairly disadvantages existing entrants. These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales; consumers living in Scotland retain any mandatory right to use their local courts.
